Burn and copy your XBox 360 games

You can burn and copy your XBox 360 games, but it takes a little doing. It's not as easy as plopping it in and hitting "start."

There are 2 ways to copy games: you can copy games to your XBox hard drive, or you can use a PC. If you want to burn a copy of your games, you have to use a PC, and the process is a little more complicated. I'll probably say it again later, but you have to have a modded XBox to play copied games. The system is designed so that it won't play copied games, so if you plan on doing this, make sure your XBox has a mod chip first. Otherwise it won't work!

Copying Games To Your XBox Hard Drive

Copying games this way is pretty easy. You'll need one bit of software which is called DVD2XBOX. This is a totally legal piece of software that allows you to back up games, and you can get it for free online. Do a web search and you can find it. You might also want to make sure your XBox has plenty of hard drive space for the backed up games. If you plan to do this, I recommend upgrading your XBox hard drive first, so you have plenty of memory.

Once you have DVD2XBOX on your XBox, it will show up on the dashboard under "applications." If you open this software, it will walk you through step by step on copying and saving the games. It's pretty user friendly, but if you are unsure, there are some easy-to-follow tutorials on the web.

Copying Games To Your PC

This is a lot more complex, but it's the only way to burn your games to disk. You'll need more gear for this. You have to at least have an Ethernet cable, software for converting games to .ISO file, software for burning DVDs or CD-ROMs, and a mod chip in your XBox to play the copied games.

Here's how you do it: First, connect your XBox to your computer with the Ethernet cable. With the Ethernet cable, you can FTP the files and back them up on your hard drive. You'll need to do this in order to copy them. Once you're hooked up, load the games onto your computer using FTP.

The next step is to turn those games into .ISO files. To do this, you'll need some software like Qwix or ISO. Users have reported that both work pretty well, and you can download either one free on the web. They'll need to be in .ISO format in order to be burned onto DVDs.

Next, you'll need some kind of software for burning the files to DVD. Probably the most used software for burning XBox games is Nero's Burning Rom. It's easy to use and makes discs that are compatible with the XBox. Alcohol 120 is also pretty popular. If you want to use another software, just make sure that the discs it burns are XBox compatible. The specs should tell you this.

The best discs to use are recordable DVDs like DVD-R, DVD-RW, or CD-RW's. Before you start burning a bunch of stuff, you should do a test run. Burn one and make sure it works on your XBox before you go totally crazy and burn a bunch.

Now, just burn those .ISO files with Nero or Alcohol 120, and you're good to go. I can't stress it enough: Mod chips are expensive and hard to install, but if you plan to play burned games, you need one. Also, keep in mind that a mod chip voids your warrantee, and you can't do XBox Live with a mod chip.

Alternative Free Energy

Much has been discussed over the subject of "free energy" because this definition is supposed to stand for energy that can be directly extracted from atmosphere and in vast quantities, without affecting the environment. The debates have concentrated over whether free energy exists or not and how much it would cost to be used for large scale production; also, controversy has arisen over the terms abundant and efficient; how much do you need to be abundant? How much do you need to become efficient? The potential in research in this area needs to be exploited to its full maximum, therefore new things need to be uncovered before using free energy.

The term "free energy devices" has been coined to serve for multiple purposes. People use this term to describe a device used to collect and transmit energy from one source to another; it is also used to describe something that collects energy without requiring any fees or even to name machine with perpetual motion. Though it is needless to say, recall that the machine that produced perpetual motion by using only energy produced by itself was and is fiction, an impossible concept to put into practice. There is no possible machine on earth that is capable of being turned on and then starting to produce its own energy until infinity, without using any resources from the exterior. Technology, however, has advanced over the course of time and new ones have replaced the old technologies, thus giving rise to more efficient devices and less energy consuming approaches.

Nonetheless, no one can until now, come up with the technology to exploit all the free energy in the space and this idea is also something that hasn't been put into practice until now. Therefore, we needed to exploit the potential of atoms to create huge energy amounts. This fact become possible in the '40s when nuclear power proved to all that we can create incredulous amounts of energy. Flying was also fiction until the Wright Brothers were able to fly for the first time at the beginning of the twentieth century.

Those who support the ideas of "free energy" argue that mankind can utilize large amounts of energy coming from the Field named Zero Point. This represents the states where a defined system enters the mechanical state and then reaches a point in which the lowest energy points is located. Otherwise known as the "ground state", the Zero Point Energy is also known as "residual energy" because you are using an alternative to generate energy. This idea was initially coined by Albert Einstein together with Otto Stern.

This idea is also used to refer to vacuum energy, when studying quantum mechanics for instance. It is utilized in expressing the idea of empty space. The energy field generated inside the vacuum is attributed to the base of waterfall, according to the idea of one of those who proposed the idea, Hal Puthof. Puthof gives an explanation for the zero point, which basically means that provided that the universe is frozen completely, the energy from zero point would still remain there. Even so, it is not quite well known whether these implications are merely derived from the fact that this belongs to quantum physics or whether this is the consequence of another phenomenon. Therefore, finding the reservoir for such a big amount of energy is extremely difficult to do and there are also question on how gravity or inertia affect this side of the discussion.

These questions remain to be answered and they generate a lot of interest along the academia because they prove to be enticing challenging to an ever changing world, where finding the right resources of energies would insure the survival or the demise of the environment. Therefore, mankind needs to make some progress in the category of energy and be able to realistically advance with research. New engineering solutions might be coined in the future to help with the emission rates concerning atoms, molecules, laser research and other potential, interesting topics.

Antenna Technology

A Fractal Antenna is an antenna that can be broken up into smaller parts. Fractal just means a part of, so in this scenario they are referring to an antenna that can have feelers added or removed. By doing this the Fractal Antenna is following a concept called the self-similarity design module. This basically means you can remove or add part of the design in equal parts. If you ever took a class in Fractal Geometry, you'd learn the mathematical reasoning behind this. The mathematics behind this device is governed by the Mandelbrot Set.

Benoit Mandelbrot is the father of modern day Fractal Geometry. These antennas operate by sending out special electromagnetic signals that cover a specific area or volume depending on how many Fractals the antenna itself has. Fractal Antennas aren't large or cumbersome by any means. In fact they are very small and have real world application in cellular phones or microwave ovens and other small electronic devices. This antenna is unique in that it can operate at various different frequencies at the same time.

Most antennas have to be specifically rigged to operate at a particular frequency. The highest and best use of the Fractal Antenna is in both wideband and multiband products that require varying frequencies. The first published works of the Fractal Antenna came about by Nathan Cohen in 1995. The beauty of these types of antennas is that they are flexible, but not all of these will work on the same applications.

The two most common type of Fractal Antennas include the Koch Dipole and Common Bipole Antennas. The Common Bipole seems to have a stronger impedance than the Koch Dipole. You can adjust the size on these antennas upwards of two hundred to four hundred percent and maintain great performance.

What I personally feel about this technology is that it's ironic that hundreds of millions of people all over the world are benefiting from it as we speak, however there's probably at this point only 100,000 who even know about it and a lot less that really understand what it is. People go to school for years to learn how to develop such things. I think we all owe a debt of gratitude to Nathan Cohen for bringing this technology to fruition.

Now the question to ask yourself is, what effect will this technology play not only in Micro Electronics, but in the ability to create other similar inventions based on this one. A lot of people think that Fractal Antennas have to do with some type of illegal cable hookups. Far from it. As you can now realize, this technology is just one more aspect that makes life easier for all of us in one way or another in the 21st century. This will eventually allow developers to create smaller, more sophisticated yet User-Friendly products. Our review concludes that this is a definitely breakthrough in the electronics industry. Knowledge is cumulative which makes this invention so fascinating to us.
